At the water's edge of Okanagan Lake, this custom-built West Kelowna home was designed as a fresh, airy expression of contemporary lakefront living. We guided our clients through Urban Theory Design's extensive full-service design process, developing every custom interior detail - from the stunning recessed feature ceilings, three-sided glass fireplace feature wall, to the mono-stringer staircase, full custom millwork, finishes, fixtures, and layered material palette throughout.
White oak and walnut bring warmth to the home's clean contemporary lines, while quartzite counters, integrated back-splash ledges, mixed metallic accents, and sculptural lighting add refinement. The entertainer's kitchen hides a peekaboo butler's pantry, the custom his-and-hers ensuite, expansive walk-in shower, the white baby grand piano niche, and carefully framed lake views create incredible moments that feel both personal and quietly luxurious. The result is an elevated contemporary lake home, shaped around fine art, entertaining, and everyday life on the water - elevated, highly considered, and completely tailored to our clients.
